Whichever you choose, here’s what to do next: You can either start a new game and kill nothing or reload the Neutral Route’s final save from earlier. Assuming you did everything correctly, you will be able to get the True Pacifist Ending.
Pacifist route upgrade#
Use Alphys’ phone upgrade to shoot his heart as well, ending the battle without casualties.Īfter the steps above, you can reopen the game. Head through Hotland and the CORE, where you’ll have to fight Mettaton EX by raising the ratings to 10,000.Hang out with her and complete both the “cooking lesson” and a mock battle. Head to Waterfall, where Undyne’s House is located. After fleeing from Undyne during her battle, quickly give her a cup of water, and don’t leave the room, as doing so will abort the Run.Hang out with Papyrus after your fight with him. Here are some actions you have to go through to get the True Pacifist Ending: Reload a previous save file should you accidentally kill anyone or anything else. I never killed anything except for Toriel but I reset after that happened so I'm not sure if that is affecting me or not. However, you can choose to kill the Dummy in the Ruins, as it doesn’t give your EXP. I read that you have to do a neutral ending (fighting Photoshop Flowey and starting over to play through the end of the game again) in order to get a True Pacifist ending. When you say my health stays at 1, do you mean all the time or during a specific fight? I have researched it a lot so I know that I should expect Toriel to show up to stop me fighting Asgore, but I'm getting conflicting reports of when that happens (first time fighting Asgore, or after defeating him once and replaying it). So yeah, just don't kill anything, and trust me, its impossible to not die during pacifist. It's not required, but its a fun little easter egg. Interacting wiht sans at the end reqires you to restart 5 times with the yellow star at the beginning of his hallway. If youre having trouble with characters such as papyrus, mettaton, and undyne, you can find guides online. I don't want to spoil the end but its pretty exciting. Phootshop flowey is not in the pacifist ending. For toriel, Just keep dodging her attacks and mercy her a bunch. On my play through, i never looked at the fight button. You'll know if you beat the pacifist ending if your health stays at 1 and never goes up. Originally posted by CactusCricket:Hello! Okay so it's been a while since ive played undertale but the pacifist ending is something i remeber. Can someone clarify for me if I did this entirely wrong by using the attack command, or if there is a way for me to salvage this save file and still get the good ending? I don't know what I'm missing (other than getting the key to Sans' room). I also read that you are supposed to interact with Sans several times in the castle hallway by restarting the game, but he is no longer there for me. I read that Toriel is supposed to show up and stop you from fighting Asgore, but she never did. I replayed the end of the game but it went exactly the same as the first time. After I did the true lab and befriended Alphys, I was transported back to the end, where the elevator doors were covered with vines. I restarted the game after a friend told me I had to do the letter thing with Undyne and Alphys. I played all the way through, spared Asgore, beat Photoshop Flowey and got the neutral ending where you get a phone call from everyone telling you how things went after you left. I haven't killed anything, but I have used the attack command from time to time (some guides say you can't do that, and some say it's fine as long as you don't kill). To preface, I accidentally killed Toriel the first time, but I restarted (not true reset by deleting the UNDERTALE file, but just by using the button on the menu).
Pacifist route how to#
I have seen sooooo many confusing/conflicting guides on how to get the true pacifist/good ending for Undertale, and I feel like I did everything right but I'm not getting it.
